UAW was proud to host the 2009 Roadrunners Charity Run/Walk. This year the event, held Sat., Nov 14, had more participants than any previous year. The runners gave generous donations for the benefiting charities (Gilead House and Magic Closet.)
After the run, participants were treated to a meal in the UAW Assembly Hall while Gilead House recipients of the donations spoke to the runners/walkers and gave thanks for the generous community support. UAW Local 292 is proud of our members' commitment to the community, and glad to have hosted this year's event. We look forward to next year's event being even bigger!
