KEYNOTE speaker: Kemba Smith, who received clemency from President Bill Clinton while she served a 241/2-year prison sentence, speaks to hundreds Sunday at United Auto Workers Local No. 292. Smith was the keynote speaker at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day luncheon, which Kokomo’s UAW locals organized.

Several hundred Kokomo area residents packed into Union Auto Workers Local No. 292’s hall Sunday for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebratory luncheon, which all of the city’s UAW chapters sponsored.
